Cancellation & Refund Policy

At agristore.digital, we strive to provide the highest quality hybrid seeds. Because seeds are biological products highly sensitive to environmental conditions, our policy is structured to ensure the integrity of the product and the safety of all our customers.

1. No Return / No Exchange

Due to the perishable and sensitive nature of agricultural seeds, we follow a strict No Return and No Exchange policy. Once the seed packet has been delivered, we cannot verify if the seeds were stored under the required temperature and humidity conditions, and therefore, we cannot accept them back into our inventory.

2. Exceptions (Damaged or Incorrect Items)

Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, we will provide a resolution in the following specific cases:

  • Wrong Product: If you received a seed variety different from what you ordered.

  • Damaged Packaging: If the seed packet reached you in a physically damaged or tampered condition.

To be eligible for a resolution in these cases:

  1. You must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.

  2. You must provide unboxing video/photos clearly showing the damage or the incorrect label.

  3. The original seal of the seed packet must be intact. If the packet is opened, it will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

3. Cancellation Policy
  • Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order at any time before it has been handed over to our courier partner (India Post/Others). A full refund will be processed to the original payment method.
  • After Dispatch: Orders cannot be canceled once they are in transit. If a customer refuses a Cash on Delivery (COD) shipment at the doorstep without a valid reason (e.g., package damage), we reserve the right to restrict future COD orders for that user.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds or returns will not be entertained for:
  • Poor Germination/Yield: Agriculture depends on soil quality, weather, water, and farming practices. We do not guarantee crop results.

  • Change of Mind: Decisions to change varieties after the order is shipped.

  • Incorrect Address: Orders delayed or lost due to incorrect shipping details provided by the buyer.

5. Refund Processing (If Applicable)

If a refund is approved by our team (e.g., for an out-of-stock item or a valid damaged claim), it will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method or a bank transfer for COD orders.

To comply with the 2020 Rules, make sure your website also clearly displays:

  1. Grievance Officer: Name and contact details of a person users can complain to.

  2. Country of Origin: Clearly state "India" (or the specific country) for every seed variety.

  3. Customer Care: A working phone number or email.
